Stephenson Harwood advises Vortex Companies on Lining Division acquisition
Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has advised U.S headquartered The Vortex Companies (Vortex), backed by the leading mid-market private equity firm Quad-C Management, Inc., on its first UK bolt-on acquisition of Lining Division Ltd. (LDL).
The Vortex Companies is a leading provider of advanced trenchless water and sewer technologies. Formed in 2015, Vortex is currently led by its co-founder and CEO, Mike Vellano. Vortex is split into two divisions, offering both trenchless infrastructure rehabilitation contracting services and products. Vortex operates in 12 strategic locations throughout the U.S. and Europe.
Founded in 2009, UK based LDL is a trenchless rehabilitation and contracting services business. LDL complements Vortex's growth model, and this transaction will help LDL expand its products and services and support its customers.
