Stephenson Harwood advises on the Denkavit Group's acquisition of Volac's Milk Replacer business
Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has advised the Denkavit Group on its acquisition of the Volac Group's Milk Replacer business.
Denkavit, based in the Netherlands, specialises in young animal nutrition and feed ingredients. Volac is an international business which develops dairy nutrition products for consumers and farm animals. On completion of the transaction in December, Denkavit acquired operations in the UK and Ireland for the first time, whilst the Italian operations of the business were acquired by Denkavit's Italian subsidiary.
Corporate partner Duncan Stiles and corporate associates Zoe Yuile and Alexander Goodman led the team working on the transaction. Partner Dan Holland and associate Joseph Samuelson advised on transitional services and manufacturing arrangements, and partner John Meehan and managing associate Byul Han provided tax advice.
