Stephenson Harwood advises Coniston Capital in connection with their growth capital investment into MWA Financial
Stephenson Harwood has advised Coniston Capital in relation to its growth capital investment into MWA Financial in order to fund MWA's acquisition strategy.
MWA was founded in 2016 by Dean Campbell Banks and acquires UK IFA businesses which provide their clients with independent, holistic financial advice. The business is chaired by Edward Rosengarten with Banks leading the management team. Coniston’s funding will increase MWA's ability to pursue further acquisitions (with three further acquisitions anticipated in the next twelve months).
Coniston Capital invests in UK based SMEs that require a partner to facilitate a change of ownership and help deliver their growth plans.

The team was led by private equity partner Richard Coleman, who was supported by associates Lydia Zakrzewksi and Amir Kursun.
