Sandeep Dhama and Melissa Forbes-Miranda named in Legal 500 Powerlist

Stephenson Harwood LLP Dubai-based Corporate/M&A Partners Sandeep Dhama and Melissa Forbes-Miranda have been named in The Legal 500's inaugural M&A Powerlist Series: Middle East Region.

The list, which is based on extensive research by The Legal 500, highlights the region's leading M&A counsel.

Sandeep advises on M&A, disposals, business transfers, restructurings, joint ventures, private equity, venture capital and minority investments.  His clients cover a range of sectors, including technology, private capital and funds, as well as government and public sector, professional services, and hospitality, leisure and retail. His practice has a broad geographic reach, including the UAE and wider GCC, Singapore, Indonesia and ASEAN, United States, UK and Europe.

Melissa advises on private company M&A, distress deals, disposals, business and asset transfers, joint ventures, competition clearance, private equity and venture capital. Like Sandeep, her clients operate across a broad range of sectors, including various of the firm's key areas of focus: technology, life sciences, private capital and funds, transportation and trade, and decarbonisation.

Stephenson Harwood's Middle East practice is a significant part of the firm's network. For over a decade, the Middle East Corporate team has consistently handled high-value and multi-jurisdictional M&A and joint venture transactions. These have included complex intra-GCC cross-border deals as well as cross-border inbound and outbound transactions spanning across the globe.
