Joanna Jiang joins Wei Tu Law Firm as partner

Stephenson Harwood's Greater China associated firm, Wei Tu Law Firm*, has strengthened its regional private wealth and corporate practice with the arrival of partner Joanna Jiang.

Joanna is a highly experienced lawyer who advises clients on a broad range of private wealth, M&A, private equity investments and Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP) advice. She has extensive knowledge in cross-border structures, trust and estate planning and business succession planning. Joanna has represented top tier clients, including Fortune 500 companies, as well as high-tech start-ups on numerous high-profile transactions across a range of industries, including healthcare, technology, and consumer products.

CEPA (Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement) is a free trade agreement concluded between Mainland China and Hong Kong. Under CEPA, Hong Kong based law firms are permitted to operate in association with Mainland Chinese law firms to provide comprehensive legal services in Mainland China governed by Chinese and non-Chinese laws.
