Isabelle Dauzet joins Stephenson Harwood as partner

Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has strengthened its international employment capabilities with the arrival of partner Isabelle Dauzet, who joins in Paris, and will lead the firm's employment team there.

Isabelle has notable experience advising on the full spectrum of employment law matters – representing French and international companies. She advises clients on both individual and collective labour relations. Her advice relating to day-to-day employment law issues covers employment contracts, dismissals and sensitive cases – with specific expertise on discrimination and harassment. She also advises in relation to collective matters – including relations with employee representatives and negotiations with trade unions – on issues such as the implementation of reorganisation projects as a result of workforce reduction plans and asset transfers. She also supports on both collective and individual litigation. She has particular experience in relation to restructuring and the implementation of collective redundancy procedures, and represents distressed companies and their shareholders, advising them on matters relating to group liabilities. She is also an experienced ethics, investigations and defence (EID) advisor.

"Employment law is an important facet of much of the work our clients come to us for – whether in relation to M&A, litigation, regulatory, private equity, restructuring, or EID," said Paul Reeves, partner and head of employment at Stephenson Harwood. "Isabelle's extensive experience advising across the full spectrum and lifecycle of employment law matters will allow us to deepen our offering to existing clients and reinforces our reputation as a go to destination for new clients."

"As in any economic downturn, we're seeing increased demand for support on restructurings, which makes Isabelle's skillset particularly important," said Nicolas Demigneux, Paris office managing partner, Stephenson Harwood. "Similarly, with the rise of focus on business ethics and increased regulatory scrutiny, both in France and internationally, Stephenson Harwood provides a full-service support to clients as they look to mitigate legal, commercial and reputational risks on a global scale. Isabelle's skillset complements that of the existing team, and is another milestone as we consolidate our expertise in Paris."

Stephenson Harwood’s employment practice is part of the firm’s multidisciplinary employment, pensions, immigration and private wealth group. The full service, international team is able to support on both litigation and advisory matters.
