Before joining Stephenson Harwood, she practiced PRC law at King & Wood Mallesons where she focused on banking litigation and commercial arbitration. She represented clients on cross-border disputes regarding trade finance (letter of credit, independent guarantee, etc.), derivatives, engineering projects and enforcement. She also advised non-contentious deal negotiation and compliance matters for financial institutions, internet financial service companies, insurance companies, medical services and retail business.
She is currently developing a specialisation in marine and international trade matters, where she regularly acts for owners and operators in charter party and bill of lading disputes and acts for financial lessors in drafting, reviewing and negotiating shipbuilding contracts and time charters that form part of operational leases.
Xueqing is currently admitted to practice in the State of New York.
