Biography

Paul Reeves is a leading employment law specialist and Head of Employment at Stephenson Harwood LLP. With over two decades of experience, Paul is recognised for his strategic acumen and deep legal expertise across the full spectrum of employment law. He is widely regarded as “one of the most talented employment lawyers in the country,” (Legal 500, 2024) praised for his tenacity, commercial insight, and exceptional client engagement.

Paul advises a broad client base including FTSE 100 companies, financial institutions, international luxury brands, and senior executives. His practice spans contentious and non-contentious matters, including:

+ High Court litigation and Employment Tribunal defence
+ Senior executive appointments and exits
+ Internal investigations (grievance, disciplinary, whistleblowing)
+ Regulatory compliance under the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR)
+ TUPE and multi-jurisdictional employment issues on corporate transactions
+ Drafting and negotiating complex remuneration structures and restrictive covenants
