Joshua advises on both contentious and non-contentious matters in relation to intellectual property. His experience extends to advising clients across a range of sectors, including luxury and consumer goods and services, pharmaceuticals, life sciences and technology.
His experience includes cross-border trade mark, copyright and patent disputes, in addition to providing general advice in respect of brand protection and enforcement matters.

Joshua also works in an advisory role on transactional and other non-contentious aspects of intellectual property. His experience extends to providing trade mark strategies; drafting collaboration agreements and intellectual property assignments; and advising in relation to corporate acquisitions.

Joshua trained at Stephenson Harwood, during which time he was seconded to the Hong Kong office for six months where he worked on a number of intellectual property and general litigation matters.

"I have worked with Rob Jacob and Joshua Cunnington. I think Rob is a very good leader. He leads his team and also leads the other corresponding law firms about the court actions that they coordinate. Both Rob and Joshua were always responsive, and they provided comments and information about other jurisdictions, improving the quality of our work."
