    Advised on the English and Italian law aspects for five luxury yacht financings supervising all other shipping features including the pre and post-delivery financing management arrangements, registration and security package.

  • 50m yacht refinancing

    Acting for the borrower in the refinancing of a 50m award winning motor yacht.

  • MOA Litigation

    Acting for the buyers in finalising the purchase of three luxury yachts under three MYBA Memorandum of Agreement. 

  • Standard form of lease

    Advising a major French bank in reviewing the standard terms and conditions for the lease of small pleasure crafts. 

  • Compagnie du Ponant/GIEK

    Advised on the financing of four luxury explorer vessels by way of French tax lease supported by GIEK, the Norwegian export-credit agency. Acting for the owner in connection with the negotiation of a construction contract for one of the largest sailing yachts delivered in 2025.

  • Superyacht construction

    Advised a private client on the construction of a 50 meter superyacht with an innovative design and diesel-electric hybrid power built by Tankoa Yachts S.p.A, an Italian yard based in Genoa (Italy).

  • Yacht financing

    Represented the lender on the secured financing of a 50 meter yacht, with provision for the transfer of ownership to and leasing between Maltese subsidiaries.

  • Pre and post-delivery yacht financing

    Acted for a European bank in the pre and post-delivery financing of a 37 meter yacht built by an Italian shipyard.

  • Sailing yacht

    Advising a European client in closing a building contract for an about 42 meter sailing yacht in the context of complex corporate restructuring arrangements of a well-known builder.

  • Predelivery financing

    Representing a major European bank in the pre-delivery financing of two maxi-yachts built at Italian
    yards.
