Alexandre advises and assists the various stakeholders faced with an insolvency situation or crisis (managers, shareholders, debtors in difficulty, creditors, bidders, etc.) both in the context of amicable proceedings (ad hoc mandate, conciliation) or court-supervised proceedings (safeguard, recovery, judicial liquidation).
He has developed a specific expertise in all aspects of restructuring litigation, both during and after the restructuring. In addition to acting in the broad range of disputes arising out of insolvency proceedings, Alexandre also handles complex business litigation related to corporate difficulties and the restructuring or disposal of underperforming businesses, as well as business disputes arising out of a crisis situation.
He also has significant experience advising bidders for the takeover of businesses in insolvency proceedings.
He has notably acted in emblematic cases in the industry, transport, technology, leisure, retail, real estate and construction, energy, publishing and media sectors.
Alexandre has been recognised for his expertise by the Option Droit & Affaires and Décideurs Magazine R&I rankings. He is named as one of the best professionals aged under 40 in the world by the Global Restructuring Review (40 Under 40 List 2022).
Alexandre is a former secretary of the Conference of Lawyers at the Council of State and Court of Cassation. He is an active member of the international association INSOL Europe and a Lexology National Expert.
Prior to joining Stephenson Harwood, Alexandre worked in the litigation and restructuring and insolvency practice of major international law firms in Paris. He notably was with Bredin Prat for more than seven years.
Alexandre is a graduate of the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas, the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and Sciences Po Paris.
He speaks French and English and is a member of the Paris Bar.
