Alan advises clients on various regulatory matters, particularly focusing on securities regulations. He has successfully assisted a Singaporean based buy-now-pay-later business in its localisation in the Hong Kong market, and has continued to assist in their subsequent projects, including the issue of a buy-now-pay-later payment card.

He also advised many different businesses in their token offerings, establishments of virtual asset trading platforms, virtual asset trading businesses and launches of virtual assets related products. In addition to advising on the structuring, regulatory and compliance issues, he also assisted the businesses in the preparation of their standard terms documents.

Alan has also assisted in multiple banking and financing matters, including advising lenders from a Hong Kong law perspective on their lending to one of the world's leading toddler toys manufacturer.

Alan also advised businesses in respect of data privacy and has assisted one of the largest local logistic companies in the preparation of their data privacy policies and procedures.
