Members of Stephenson Harwood’s intellectual property (IP) team have been named leading practitioners in the 2020 edition of Managing IP’s ‘IP STARS’, and featured in IAM Patent 1000’s new rankings.
In Managing IP’s ‘IP STARS’, partner Alexandra Pygall was named a trade mark star and patent star, partner Rob Jacob was named a trade mark star, while partner Naomi Leach was listed as a practitioner. Pygall is also included in the publication’s 2020 edition of ‘Top 250 Women in IP’, where she is one of only 20 women selected from the UK.
IP STARS is an annual specialist guide to IP law firms and practitioners worldwide. The Top 250 Women in IP recognises female practitioners in private practice who have performed exceptionally for their clients and firms in the past year. Both lists are based on global research and cover more than 70 jurisdictions.
In IAM Patent 1000’s new edition, the firm received a highly recommended ranking in the ‘Firms: transactions’ category, and was also ranked in the ‘Firms: litigation’ category. Feedback commended the firm for appraising every mandate with a creative, commercial eye and delivering effective and innovative solutions. In the ‘Individuals: litigation’ category, CEO Eifion Morris and partner Rob Jacob received silver and bronze rankings respectively; Morris was also ranked in the ‘Individuals: transactions’ category, alongside partners Alexandra Pygall and Naomi Leach.
Pygall was commended for her “really incisive mind” and “invaluable creative insight”.
