Corporate / mergers and acquisitions:

A PRC bank-backed financial institution on its proposed subscription of new shares in Quam Limited and mandatory general offer.

Arts Optical Group on a very substantial disposal and connected transaction of its land and premises in Shenzhen.

An Austrian based telecommunications operator  on its acquisition of a GSM business in the EMEA and Taiwan and a global GSM-R business from Nortel Networks Corporation, on corporate, employment and benefit issues.

Jiangsu Shagang Group on its acquisition of a 45% stake in Grange Resources Limited. Subsequently, Grange combined with Australian Bulk Minerals, a Shagang-controlled operator of an iron-ore mine in Tasmania, to create a new US$ 836 million Australian iron ore group.
