Our clients include lessors, financiers, investment funds, captives, banks and other financial institutions. We help them in relation to a range of products involving business critical assets including:

  • operating and finance leases - receivable purchases
  • loans for the purchase of equipment
  • establishment of vendor programmes across Europe
  • financing managed service contracts
  • acquisition of leasing companies and leasing portfolios
  • the formation of leasing companies.

We are familiar with a number of different industries and the type of equipment used in those industries – whether it is regulated like the rail or water industries or highly specialised like offshore oil and gas or renewables. Acting for Guernsey based SQN Asset Finance Income Fund in relation to the due diligence aspects of its £150m IPO at the London Stock Exchange

FES Lighting Contracts

Advising FES Lighting Contracts on the financing of a supply of lighting and services contract with NCP to retrofit NCP car parks across the UK with new energy efficient lighting systems supported by a UK guarantee. This is the first transport (being car parks) infrastructure project to have qualified for a UK guarantee

Advising a financier of its acquisition of a substantial portfolio of rail maintenance depots.

Lloyds Bank Plc

Advising Lloyds Bank in relation to the purchase of receivables from another bank. The receivables relate to the leasing of various items of subsea mooring equipment.

SQN Asset Finance Income Fund Limited

Acting for SQN Asset Finance Income Fund, a Guernsey fund, in relation to the sale and leaseback of temporary hotel accommodation and ancillary equipment.

Various financiers

Acting for a number of financiers in relation to the funding of the fit out of data halls to be used by several tenants, the financiers looking at the receivables under the tenancy agreements as security.
