We advised this major provider of inpatient behavioural healthcare services on its £395 million acquisition of Partnerships in Care – one of the largest and most experienced providers of secure and step-down care across the UK.

GDF Suez Energie Services

We advised on the £190 million cash acquisition of Balfour Beatty’s UK facilities management division – operating as Balfour Beatty WorkPlace and on the acquisition of Lend Lease Facilities Management.

Woodford Investment Management

We advised an investee company on a substantial investment into it by Woodford Patient Capital Trust PLC and CF Woodford Equity Income Fund.

LOVEFiLM

We advised on the acquisition by Amazon of 58% of LOVEFiLM it did not already own.

Welsh Power Group

We advised on their entry into a strategic partnership with Octopus venture capital, whereby Welsh Power would identify and develop a series of lower capacity power plants, and Octopus Investors would provide financial backing.

Baker Tilly

We advised Baker Tilly on the acquisition of RSM Tenon Group plc, the UK's seventh-largest accountancy practice, by way of a pre-pack administration.

AET

We advised AET, one of the world's largest tanker companies, on its joint venture with ADS Shipping to acquire two new DP shuttle vessels for US$300 million to be chartered to Statoil.

easyHotel Plc

We advised this high profile budget hotels group on its IPO and £30 million placing and admission to AIM. This included providing legal advice on the placing, loan capitalisation, licencing and incentive arrangements and all aspects of the IPO.

Long-term real estate investor, Mr Sam Tak Lee

We advised Mr Samuel Tak Lee, an experienced long-term investor in real estate, on a tender offer worth in excess of £200 million for shares in property investment firm Shaftesbury PLC.

Incadea Plc

We advised Incadea, an AIM quoted software provider on its £122 million recommended takeover by NASDAQ listed Dealertrack Technologies, Inc.
