  • corporate finance (including private fundraisings, IPOs, secondary fundraisings and dual listings)
  • debt finance including RBLs, project and structured finance

  • offshore drilling, sub-sea and production

  • anti-bribery and corruption issues.

Stephenson Harwood also has a leading contentious practice which regularly advises on high-profile disputes in the energy sector, including litigation, arbitration under all major arbitration institutes as well as ad hoc arbitrations, mediations, fraud actions arising out of contractual performance and asset tracing.

In addition, the practice advises in relation to certain highly specialised areas that few international energy practices can replicate such as maritime, LNG and offshore contracting matters. These specialist areas complement our upstream expertise to enable us to provide a full range of legal advice to those operating in the offshore oil and gas sector.
