Richard specialises in construction, projects and infrastructure work advising sponsors, developers, contractors, funders and public sector bodies.

He advises on construction, operation and public procurement issues over a wide range of infrastructure sectors including transport, accommodation and waste.

Away from infrastructure, Richard advises funders, developers and employers on construction projects. His construction work covers a range of sectors including retail, office, hotel and leisure, education and high end residential. He works with standard form construction documents such as JCT, NEC3, IChemE, RIBA, RICS and ACE as well as bespoke contracts and appointments.

On the public sector side, Richard specialises in public procurement law and regularly advises both public bodies and private bidders on public procurement issues. His work has also included facilities management projects and advising public bodies in relation to Freedom of Information Act requests.
