Olivier Couraud focuses primarily on corporate tax matters in connection with mergers and acquisitions, private equity and reorganisations, for private companies, as well as investment funds. He also advises founders and executives on personal tax issues (sale of shareholdings, long-term compensation plans, management packages, management buy-outs, etc.).
Additionally, Olivier assists our fund formation and asset finance departments on the tax aspects of their transactions.
He has been involved in tax reform projects and contributed to drafting the tax section of the Macron Law.
Olivier handles domestic and international tax planning for high net worth individuals, independent entrepreneurs, family offices and family-owned companies (inheritance planning, real estate wealth tax planning, corporate reorganization, departure from France and exit tax planning, transfer of business assets outside of France, etc.).
He also advises and represents his clients in their tax audits and tax litigations.
