Kimia is known for her ability to analyse individual circumstances to recommend the most appropriate visa routes available to individuals and businesses. Her comprehensive experience means she can help with a broad range of UK visa applications as well as British nationality applications and applications made under the EEA Regulations.

She regularly advises High-Net–Worth individuals on applying for Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) and Tier 1 (Investor) visas. Advising them on the on-going requirements to apply to extend their leave and for indefinite leave to remain.

Kimia also advises businesses how to recruit non British or EEA highly skilled workers, assisting with Tier 2 (General) and (Intra-Company Transfer) sponsor licence applications and visa applications for sponsored workers. She also provides Tier 2 sponsors with guidance to use their sponsorship management systems and how to comply with their sponsor duties.

Tier 1 (Entrepreneur)

Advised on initial and extension visa applications including advice on how to demonstrate business expertise to satisfy the “Genuine Entrepreneur Test”. 

Tier 2 (General) and Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer) Sponsor Licences

Advised on the supporting documents required for licence applications and prepared sponsors for Home Office compliance visits/audits by providing extensive advice on compliance with sponsor duties. 

Non Points-Based System visas

Provided advice and assistance on in-country and out-of-country applications for spouses/partners/children of British nationals and Settled persons.

Advised non-majority shareholder employees of overseas businesses to obtain visas to set up a UK branch of the business.
