James is an associate in the construction and engineering disputes team specialising in construction, PFI and rail disputes.

James has experience of acting for a range of clients including employers, contractors, sub-contractors, rolling stock manufacturers and train operating companies on a variety of claims.

James has acted on a large number of claims arising from the design and construction of a wide range of projects including car parks, data centres, government buildings, high-rise buildings, hospitals, hotels, listed buildings, offices, power plants, pumping stations, residential apartments, schools, social housing and warehouses.

James has experience of various dispute resolution procedures including High Court litigation, adjudication, arbitration, mediation and expert determination.

James trained in the firm's London and Singapore offices.
