Jacqueline is a senior professional support lawyer in the finance practice working with the aviation, rail leasing and banking teams as well as working on projects for the finance practice. She is an active member of several networks on law reform and keeps the finance team up-to-date on developments in law and practice. As well as providing specialist finance and skills training for our lawyers and trainees, she has been providing asset finance transaction support and working with clients on their finance documentation.

Jacqueline advises the finance team on a range of disciplines and specialises in aviation finance, banking, rail finance and leasing. She has experience in legal training, skills training, advising on legal opinions and legal issues, including Brexit, knowhow, precedent drafting, current awareness and knowledge management. The variety of working practices Jacqueline has seen in law firms and in industry are an asset in using knowledge management tools to develop good working practices and efficiencies.

With over twenty years in practice, Jacqueline has experience of working in a magic circle firm for a number of years in London, international experience in Dubai and worked with a  large city firm before joining Stephenson Harwood. She has recently been involved in transaction support with the rail team on a large rail depot financing for one of our clients, drafting, reviewing and advising on issues and documentation. She completed a secondment to a client bank in 2017/18 advising on finance documentation and the Loan Market Association to assist with legal risk management. She has also worked in-house at two banks before working in legal publishing. She has penned several articles in Journal of International Banking and Financial Law and is a contributor to 'Practical Lending and Security Precedents' and in April 2019, had an article on the draft MAC protocol of the Cape Town Convention published on Leasing Life.

She has been a member of the City Finance PSL network since it began, assists with the Secured Transactions Law Reform Project, and is taking a more active interest in the Cape Town Convention  Academic Project, with the completion of the Luxembourg Protocol and publication of the draft MAC Protocol.

Jacqueline was appointed to the Consulting Editorial Board of LexisPSL Banking & Finance in March 2016. In November 2016 she was interviewed for her views on the LMA Security Agreement for real estate finance transactions.
