Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has been named 'Private Client Law Firm' by Wealth Briefing magazine for the second year running and London-based partner James Quarmby received the 'Leading Individual' award.

Held in London on April 26, the awards showcase the best providers in the global private banking, wealth management and trusted advisor communities, recognising innovation and excellence.

The judge's complemented Stephenson Harwood's impressive international range and depth of expertise, and its fearless approach to addressing controversial issues.

Quarmby, who leads the firm’s private wealth team, is a specialist in tax planning, wealth structuring and asset protection for international private clients. Highlighting his stand-out status in the market, the judges said: "When debating the many merits of these excellent individuals, our panel were drawn to one for their consistency, visibility, skills, professionalism and leadership."

These awards follow recent successes including the firm being named Legal Business magazine's 'Private Client Team of the Year' earlier this month and Quarmby being recognised by eprivateclient as one of the '50 Most Influential' advisers, for the third year running.
