Stephenson Harwood head of restructuring and insolvency Susan Moore and senior associate Eloise Fardon have been featured in Global Restructuring Review’s (GRR) 2019 Women in Restructuring Survey. Fardon has also been nominated and selected as ‘future thought leader’ in GRR’s junior practitioners under 40 list. These listings follow on from the restructuring and insolvency team’s ranking in GRR 30, a guide to the world’s top 30 law firms for cross-border insolvency and restructuring.

The purpose of the survey, which comprises Q&As with women across the profession – including lawyers, non-lawyer advisers, insolvency practitioners, academics, judges or in-house counsel, is to collect data on women’s experiences in the sector and to recognise their contribution. In the Q&As, the women discuss their work, as well as their experiences of gender equality and diversity in the workplace.

Moore, who is based in the firm’s London office, leads the restructuring and insolvency practice, and is known for her expertise in cross-border and domestic restructurings, corporate insolvencies and insolvency litigation.

Fardon, who is based in the firm’s Hong Kong office, acts for foreign companies, Hong Kong listed and private companies and insolvency practitioners in debt restructurings, insolvency scenarios and associated litigation.
