Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has won the ‘Middle East Labour and Employment Law Firm of the Year’ award at Thomson Reuters' inaugural Asian Legal Business (ALB) Middle East Law Awards 2021.
The awards, hosted by Thomson Reuters, recognise the excellence and outstanding achievements of law firms, in-house legal teams, top deals and dealmakers across the region.
“We are delighted to have won this award – an excellent result for the team and one which demonstrates the strength of our reputation in the market,” said Kiersten Lucas, partner and head of the Middle East employment, pensions and incentives team. “It’s a testament to the hard work of all of our team members – in particular, Emily Aryeetey and Laura Anderson – and their commitment to delivering the best client service and developing the employment law regime throughout the region, that we've received this prestigious accolade.”
This award win follows further recognition for the team, who was recently awarded the honorary title of 'Specialists in DIFC Employment Law' by the DIFC Academy and LexisNexis Middle East for its work authoring the DIFC employment law chapter in the latest edition of ‘Laws of the DIFC – Volume 1’.
Stephenson Harwood’s international employment, pensions, incentives and immigration group is able to advise on both litigation and advisory matters.
