Stephenson Harwood LLP has announced that it has retained 100% of its trainees who are qualifying in Hong Kong law in September 2019. All six of the qualifying trainees were offered, and accepted, positions in the firm’s Hong Kong office.
"Stephenson Harwood is committed to attracting and retaining the most talented lawyers, and to providing a supportive environment in which they can thrive,” said Voon Keat Lai, the firm's Greater China managing partner. “Since the firm first established a presence in Hong Kong, some forty years ago, the city has burgeoned into an international commercial centre. Our clients in Hong Kong, and the wider region, value the strength and depth of our lawyers’ expertise in specialisms ranging from corporate M&A, to commercial litigation, and finance to marine and international trade. It is pleasing to see that these highly competent junior lawyers will be joining a range of practice groups, positioning the firm to continue to meet the evolving needs of clients.”
The newly qualified lawyers will join the firm's commercial litigation, corporate, finance and marine and international trade practice areas.
