Stephenson Harwood named in ALB's 'Employers of Choice 2019' rankings

Law firm Stephenson Harwood's Hong Kong and Singapore offices have been named in Asian Legal Business' (ALB) 'Employers of Choice 2019' rankings. This is the third time the Hong Kong office, and second time the Singapore office, has been named in the rankings.

The annual ALB rankings are compiled based on a survey and responses from more than 2,500 private practice lawyers across Asia, as well as comprehensive market research. Law firms are ranked on a range of factors, including job satisfaction, remuneration, work-life balance, career prospects and mentorship.

"We pride ourselves on creating a working environment where our people flourish and reach their potential, where talent is fostered and where entrepreneurialism is embraced," said Danny Cohen, Stephenson Harwood's Chief Operating Officer in Asia. "Being recognised as one of Asian Legal Business' 'Employers of Choice' is testament to this."

Stephenson Harwood's Hong Kong office, established forty years ago, is the firm's largest office in Asia. The Hong Kong team advises a diverse range of clients, from individuals to multi-nationals and state-owned enterprises. Work covers the full spectrum of legal services offered by the firm's international network, including dispute resolution, corporate, employment, finance, private wealth and restructuring and insolvency.

Stephenson Harwood's Singapore office, established in 1996, is part of the Stephenson Harwood (Singapore) Alliance*. The Singapore team's clients include multi-nationals, global banks, lessors, major airlines, as well as telecommunications giants and large shipowners and shipyards.
