Stephenson Harwood LLP has been named 'Law firm of the Year' at the Operational Risk Awards 2017, for the second year running.
The annual awards mark excellence in regulation and risk management in the financial services sector. The firm’s regulatory litigation practice was particularly commended for its work advising institutions and individuals in this year's high-profile cases, including issues arising out of the LIBOR and foreign exchange manipulation scandals.
"This is an outstanding accomplishment and reflects the exceptional quality of the team," said Tony Woodcock, partner, Stephenson Harwood. "It is pleasing to see the firm's hard work recognised by this prestigious award."
The firm's regulatory litigation practice has been at the fore of high profile investigations and enforcement for many years. Clients include senior executives as well as retail and investment banks, hedge funds, and professional service firms. The team includes former prosecutors and regulators.
