Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has advised Nurture Landscapes Group, and its shareholders, on a recent investment round. All Seas Capital, a pan-European private capital fund, has invested £57 million in the group to support its growth.
Founded in 2008 by Peter Fane, Nurture Landscapes Group is a grounds maintenance and landscaping business. Its work ranges from managing the green open spaces of the Jubilee Gardens and Chiswick Business Park to university campus estates and businesses' industrial environments. The group, which currently operates across 70 depots and 20,000 sites throughout the UK, aims to become the UK's leading green service provider and achieve net zero by 2030. It received investment from Graphite Capital in 2018, and the recent backing from All Seas Capital will enable the business to accelerate its growth further over the next five years.
The Stephenson Harwood team was led by corporate partner Ben Mercer, who was supported by managing associates Chris Manning, Tom Finden and Emily Davies, and corporate associates Kunal Shah, Yuki Yue and Alex Goodman. Further support was provided by incentives partner Nicholas Stretch and associate Desiree De Lima; competition partner Marta Garcia and associate Will Spens; tax partner Kate Worthington; and employment associate River Clarke.
