Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has advised Hawksford on its acquisition of the People & Projects Ltd (P&P) in Singapore, Hong Kong and the PRC.
P&P is a full service corporate services business with a strong track record in supporting international corporates to expand their operations, including manufacturing and sales, into and across Asia.
This is the sixth acquisition that Hawksford has made since it was backed by private equity house Dunedin. Hawksford's corporate clients will now have access to a greater depth of service across the major economies of Asia, while P&P clients will be able to utilise Hawksford's wider services in other locations.
"Working seamlessly across our offices in Hong Kong, Singapore and Guangzhou, we were pleased to be able to help Hawksford with this transaction and grow their existing client offering across Asia," said Paul Westover, partner at Stephenson Harwood.
The Stephenson Harwood team was led by corporate partner Paul Westover, who was assisted by corporate associate Karen Lau. In Singapore, it also included corporate partner Tom Platts and corporate associates Mark Stephens and Peiguan Cai. In Guangzhou, the team comprised partner Zoe Zhou from Stephenson Harwood's associated Chinese firm, Wei Tu.
