Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has advised Focusrite plc on its £39.2 million acquisition of Martin Audio Ltd and its associated companies.
Focusrite is a global music and audio products company which supplies hardware and software used by professional and amateur musicians. Martin Audio is a designer and manufacturer of premium professional sound systems for the concert touring/production, portable sound systems and installation markets.
“This was an important deal for Focusrite,” said Tom Nicholls, partner, Stephenson Harwood. “The company is aiming to grow its core customer base and expand into new markets, both of which will be supported by this acquisition. The deal marks the second substantial acquisition made by Focusrite this year, and we look forward to working with the company as it continues to realise its ambitious growth plans.”
