Stephenson Harwood LLP has advised Five Arrows Secondary Opportunities on its three-part investment in VIA Equity, a Danish private equity group.
As part of the deal, Five Arrows bought the stakes previously owned by ATP and PFA in two existing Via Equity funds, and made a further commitment to the newly created VIA Equity Fond IV.
Five Arrows is the private equity investment arm of Rothschild & Co. It manages approximately €13 billion in capital globally, which includes a series of funds dedicated to private equity secondaries.
VIA equity is a Northern European multi-stage private equity fund founded in 2006 with the backing of ATP, Europe’s fourth-largest pension fund.
The Stephenson Harwood team was led by private equity partner Gabriel Boghossian, who was assisted by associate Arturas Jakubovskis.
