Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has advised EMERAM Capital Partners on the establishment of a continuation vehicle to support the development of ]init[, a highly performing asset from EMERAM's first fund that focuses on the provision of innovative digital services.
The continuation vehicle – WinIT CV – will allow EMERAM to further develop ]init['s growth with the provision of follow-on capital, and gives existing investors a liquidity opportunity. It was capitalised by a group of experienced secondary investors led by Schroders Capital.
EMERAM is a private equity sponsor, which focuses on small and medium enterprises in German-speaking countries. Since it launched in 2012, EMERAM has invested in more than 27 companies.
The Stephenson Harwood secondaries team was led by private equity partners Gabriel Boghossian and Sarah de Ste Croix, who were supported by associates Josh Billig, Arooj Khan and Amir Kursun.
