Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has advised Elemica, a US-based digital supply chain network for the global manufacturing sector, on its acquisition of OmPrompt, a UK-based technology company.

OmPrompt focuses on helping businesses automate, streamline and optimise supply chain processes and documentation management. Its customers include Kraft Heinz, Mondelez, Unilever, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson. OmPrompt's broad offering – comprising proprietary algorithms, machine learning, artificial intelligence and other tools – will contribute to Elemica's continued development and aggregation of automation technologies. The acquisition complements the company's growth strategy, as Elemica expands its presence into the UK market.
