Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has advised the CDER Investissements group on the sale of its module rental business to Kiloutou. This transaction resulted in the sale of MC LOC, a subsidiary of the group.

MC LOC specialises in the rental of modular buildings in the Normandy region of France. This sale complements CDER Investissements group's strategy of refocusing on its core industrial production activities, in particular the manufacture of modular constructions by its subsidiary Martin Calais.

Following the sale, Kiloutou Module has 17,000 modules, which cover the French regions of Normandy, Ile-de-France, Hauts-de-France, Pays de la Loire, New-Aquitaine, Occitania and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. These are managed by nine agencies, which focus on the rental of modular constructions for all types of installations and space requirements, such as site living bases, offices or storage.

The Stephenson Harwood team was led by corporate M&A partner Guillaume Briant and tax partner Olivier Couraud, who were assisted by associates Boubacar Diao and Jeanne-Eve Lepinay Diday respectively.
