Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has advised the mid-market private equity firm Bowmark Capital LLP on raising its sixth fund, Bowmark Capital Partners VI.
The fund reached its target of £600 million in just 10 weeks, and will invest in growth-oriented mid-market companies, typically with enterprise values of up to £200 million, including technology-enabled B2B service companies, and businesses with potential for both domestic and international growth.
This fund-raising follows a successful 12 months for Bowmark. During this period, it invested in ASK4, the internet solutions provider, LOD, the fast-growing alternative legal services provider, and The Instant Group, a global provider of independent workspace solutions. It also successfully realised investments in Law Business Research, the legal data and research provider, and Nexus, the corporate vehicle rental provider. Stephenson Harwood advised Bowmark on all of these investments.
The Stephenson Harwood team was led by partner Warren Allan, who was assisted by senior associate Lorraine Robinson, associate Olivia Short, trainee Se Young Kim, regulatory partner Jake Pidcock and tax partner John Meehan.
