Stephenson Harwood (Singapore) Alliance has advised Barentz International B.V. (Barentz) on its acquisition of Nardev Chemie.

Nardev Chemie, a Singapore-headquartered business, is a speciality chemicals distributor. The acquisition of the Singapore head office has been completed, and Barentz will be acquiring the other group entities successively. The owners of Nardev Chemie also operate the business in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.

Founded in 1953 and headquartered in the Netherlands, Barentz International B.V. is a global life science ingredients distributor which specialises in human and animal nutrition, pharmaceuticals, and personal care. Barentz has a presence in more than 60 countries and has more than 15,000 customers.
