Stephenson Harwood (Singapore) Alliance advises AZTECH Global on S$297 million IPO

Stephenson Harwood (Singapore) Alliance has advised AZTECH Global on its S$297 million initial public offering on the Singapore Exchange's (SGX) mainboard.

AZTECH Global is a key technology enabler focusing on providing one-stop design and manufacturing services. Supported by its core strengths in research and development (R&D), design, engineering and manufacturing, the company’s key products are Internet of Things (IoT) devices, data-communication products and LED lighting products. It also provides joint development manufacturing (JDM) and electronics manufacturing services (EMS) services to clients including blue chip customers and technology start-ups.

This transaction is the first IPO of 2021 on the SGX mainboard. The funds raised will be used for the expansion and enhancement of AZTECH's manufacturing facilities, development of R&D capabilities, exploring further growth in the IoT market, as well as overall business expansion.

Stephenson Harwood’s cross-office team was led by Singapore-based partner Elaine Beh and consultant Douglas Koh, who were supported by senior associate Peiguan Cai, registered foreign lawyer Vivi Tan and associate Lena Ow. The team was also supported by Hong Kong-based partner Michelle Chung and associates Charmaine Yuen and Winnie Choi.
