Simon Bollans joins Stephenson Harwood as partner

Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has strengthened its technology practice with the arrival of Simon Bollans as a partner. He joins the firm in London.

Bollans advises clients on a variety of commercial and technology related matters, and in particular has significant experience advising on large, high value, complex IT and managed service arrangements, business process outsourcings, and systems integration and digital transformation projects. He also advises on software licensing, transactional data protection issues, cyber security, and new disruptive technologies, such as AI and machine learning, with particular expertise advising financial services clients on regulated outsourcing arrangements. Bollans returns to Stephenson Harwood, having trained and qualified at the firm, from Osborne Clarke.

"Simon's deep sector knowledge and experience enables us to further enhance the support we're able to provide our clients across all aspects of commercial and technology matters," said partner Dan Holland, head of Stephenson Harwood's commercial, outsourcing and technology practice. "His arrival is an important step in the continued development of our technology practice."

Tom Nicholls, head of the firm's corporate practice, said: "Technology is one of the firm's five strategic priority areas, well suited to our strengths of supporting clients with their complex business challenges. These areas have been identified for further growth and investment, and Simon's arrival reflects that commitment."
