Stephenson Harwood partner Penelope Shen has won the ‘Women in Wealth For Good (APAC)’ award at The WealthBriefing Wealth For Good Awards 2023.

The annual awards recognise exceptional firms, teams and individuals, which the judges have deemed to have "demonstrated innovation and excellence during the last year".

Penelope won this award in recognition of her wider ESG efforts, as well as her legal work in the funds sector. In the commentary, judges noted that "this year’s category winner is a leading funds lawyer. She stands out as a professional because she is dedicated to much more than just her work as a solicitor."

As a funds lawyer, Penelope focuses on the establishment and structuring of private investment funds, including hedge funds, venture capital, private equity funds, real estate funds, credit funds and QFI funds.
