Stephenson Harwood LLP partner Kamal Shah and of counsel Duncan Bagshaw have been named in The Legal 500's 'Private Practice Powerlist: Africa Specialists'.

Shah, head of Stephenson Harwood's Africa practice, specialises in complex, cross-border international arbitration, litigation, and fraud and asset recovery in Africa and India. He acts for governments, government entities, banks, private corporations and high net worth individuals in a range of matters.
Bagshaw, who specialises in international arbitration and litigation in various jurisdictions, has extensive experience working in Africa, offering practical commercial advice to clients operating in the region. He joined Stephenson Harwood after spending three years as the Registrar of the LCIA-MIAC Arbitration Centre in Mauritius. During that time, he established and developed MIAC into a leading African arbitration centre.
