Stephenson Harwood partners Kamal Shah and George Cyriac have been named in India Business Law Journal’s (IBLJ) ‘International A-List’, for the fourth consecutive year.
IBLJ compiles a list of the top 100 India-focused lawyers at international law firms each year, following extensive research which includes collecting the views of in-house counsel and private practice lawyers in India.
Shah, head of Stephenson Harwood's India group, specialises in complex, cross-border international arbitration, litigation, and fraud and asset recovery in India and Africa. He acts for governments, government entities, banks, private corporations and high net worth individuals on a range of matters.
Cyriac, who is part of Stephenson Harwood (Singapore) Alliance, has more than 20 years of experience advising on complex cross-border corporate and restructuring transactions, and represents leading Indian corporates, banks and funds in their transactions outside India, and foreign investors on their investments in India.
