Stephenson Harwood partners Kamal Shah and George Cyriac have been included in India Business Law Journal’s (IBLJ) ‘International A-List’ for the second year running.
IBLJ, a monthly magazine, compiles an annual list of the top 100 India-focused legal experts around the world. The list is based on extensive research conducted by the publication, which seeks the collective views of in-house counsel and private practice lawyers in India to produce it.
Shah, head of Stephenson Harwood's India group, specialises in complex, cross-border international arbitration, litigation, and fraud and asset recovery in India and Africa. He acts for governments, government entities, banks, private corporations and high net worth individuals in a range of matters.
Cyriac, who is part of Stephenson Harwood (Singapore) Alliance, has more than 20 years of experience advising on complex cross-border corporate and restructuring transactions, and represents leading Indian corporates, banks and funds in their transactions outside India, and foreign investors in their investments in India.
