The momentum and appetite for environmental and climate change claims is building globally with both states and companies facing judicial scrutiny and courts mandating parties to do their share to prevent climate change. In July 2021, the London School of Economics reported that the cumulative number of climate change-related cases globally has more than doubled since 2015.
