She has advised a variety of UK and international clients, ranging from start-ups to large multi-nationals, on both UK domestic and international cross-border transactions. Zoe acts for clients within a range of sectors, with a particular interest and focus in financial services and retail and hospitality.
Zoe qualified in Scotland and was retained by a leading firm in the Scottish market before joining Stephenson Harwood in 2022. Work highlights include: advising US and Israeli private equity-backed eScribers Ltd (transcription and translation service providers) on its acquisition of Marten Walsh Cherer Limited as part of its UK growth strategy; advising the majority shareholders of a large residential property development business on their share sale of the company and its operating subsidiaries to a UK trade buyer; advising a large UK pensions and investments consultant on the acquisitions of various wealth management businesses, cross-border joint ventures and IP sharing arrangements, and investment into a UK DB superfund; advising a listed international business (HQ in Finland) on the sale of a large paper production and recycling / energy plant to a privately owned Turkish conglomerate and; advising Cairngorm Capital on the acquisition of and investment into Munnypot Limited, a provider of online investment advice by way of a bespoke digital platform.
