Zack is a specialist in the pensions disputes and contentious trusts group.

Zack has experience working on a wide-range of pension litigation matters acting for both trustees and employers and parties acting in an interest-based or representative role.

He has gained valuable High Court experience working on significant cases concerning the interpretation and construction of "forfeiture" provisions in a pension scheme's documentation and the serial rectification of a different pension scheme's documentation.  He also has experience of construction and rectification applications, in addition to dealing with a variety of individual member complaints.

Zack has also gathered experience in a wide range of stage of professional negligence actions.

Acting for the trustee in a case concerning limitation in claims by pension scheme beneficiaries for arrears. This case also provided key guidance on the court's power to award interest on such claims and on the interpretation and exercise of forfeiture clauses.

Acting for the employer in the rectification of a deed concerning the definition of what constituted pensionable pay under the scheme.
