Will is an associate in the banking team. He has experience on a broad range of cross-border debt financing deals, with particular interest and expertise in real estate finance, corporate lending and acquisition finance transactions.

Will advises clients on a range of debt finance transactions with a particular focus on cross-border real estate finance (involving acquisition, investment, development and bridging finance), corporate lending and acquisition finance.

He acts for a wide range of borrower and lender clients including developers, sponsors, investment and asset management corporates, funds, major financial institutions, high street banks and non-bank lenders. He provides commercial and sensible solutions to complex matters and is particularly skilled at completing complicated transactions with time-sensitive deadlines. In real estate finance transactions, Will has worked on deals with a broad range of real estate assets including mixed-use and residential buildings, logistics and distributions centres, offices, hotels, student accommodation and real estate portfolios.

Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited (OCBC)

Will advised OCBC on the £273 million financing to Oxford Properties Group, the global real estate investor, to finance the share acquisition of Lab VH Ltd, the owner of Victoria House, a Grade II listed building and the conversion of part of the asset into a life sciences building.

Will advised OCBC on the £174 million refinancing of the acquisition of the Alphabeta building, London by Sinar Mas Land, the largest and most diverse property developer in Indonesia.

Wells Fargo

Will advised Wells Fargo on the £190 million financing for EQT Exeter to finance the acquisition of a number of logistics assets across the UK and Ireland.

Will advised Wells Fargo on the £26 million development financing for Clearbell, the global real estate fund management and advisory business, to finance the development of a logistics and distribution centre in Maidstone, Kent.

ING

Will advised ING on the £163 million refinancing of a property portfolio across London with LBBW as co-lender.

Cross-border leveraged acquisition

Advised the sponsor on the cross-border financing of a $300 million acquisition of a European aluminium business.

Advised one of the UK's fastest growing non-bank lender on a number of corporate lending and acquisition finance transactions.

Advised the Borrower on a £50 million revolving credit facility granted by NatWest for the development of its car financing business.

Advised a luxury hotel group on a £185 million refinancing of its group facilities and acquisition of new hotels across the UK with a major international bank.
