Viviane focuses on regulatory investigations and enforcement proceedings before the AMF and the ACPR (respectively the French financial markets and banking regulators). She has developed in-depth expertise in market abuse and breaches of professional obligations by regulated entities as well as AML-CFT issues.
She also advises on non-contentious matters in this area of expertise in the context of internal investigations, implementation of remediation plans and trainings.
She has significant experience in banking and financial services litigation before French civil and commercial courts as well as in a wide range of commercial and business law-related matters, shareholder disputes and post-acquisition litigation.
Viviane assists a broad range of domestic and international financial institutions including banks, asset managers, investment funds, insurance companies, fintech companies, asset managers and listed companies, including their managers and employees.
Prior to joining Stephenson Harwood, Viviane worked in major international law firms and at the AMF as a senior legal officer in the enforcement division. She also worked in banks in the legal and compliance teams during client secondments.
Viviane is dual-qualified (France and England and Wales).
Viviane graduated from ESCP Europe business school (Master in Management, major in Finance).
