Tinnie has experience in general banking, ship finance and real estate finance transactions.

Tinnie has worked on various finance matters and has experience in advising leading banks and financial institutions on loan and security documentation.

On the ship finance side, Tinnie regularly acts for major banks, leasing companies and ship owners in cross-border bilateral or syndicated loan facilities and sale and leaseback transactions.

On real estate finance side, Tinnie works closely with our conveyancing team in acting for major banks and investors in financing and refinancing of real estate properties located in Hong Kong or overseas.

Tinnie obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Hong Kong and completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) in the University of Hong Kong with overall distinction. She is dually qualified in Hong Kong and England & Wales.

Tinnie is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Acted for a leading US bank in a US$200 million syndicated loan to a Chinese leasing company to finance the acquisition of eight tankers.

Acted for the Hong Kong branch of a major UK bank in a syndicated loan to a PRC shipping company for financing of three newly-built container vessels.

Acted for the Hong Kong branch of a major UK bank in syndicated financing of a series of newly-built LPG tankers and bulk carriers owned by a ship owner in Abu Dhabi.

Acted for a Chinese financial leasing company in a sale and leaseback transaction of two newly-built bulk carriers to be chartered to a leading Hong Kong shipping company. The structure involves pre-delivery financing and cross-collateralisation with another two existing bulk carriers under existing charters with the same leasing company.

Acted for a Chinese financial leasing company in a sale and leaseback transaction of five newly-built chemical tankers with a Belgian shipping company.

Acted for various ship owners and lessors in title transfer and title registration of vessels under Hong Kong flag.

Advised the Hong Kong branch of a major PRC bank on a secured term loan facility to a Hong Kong listed commercial real estate investor and developer for acquisition of all units in an industrial building in Hong Kong.

Acted for a joint venture set up by two real estate groups in a syndicated financing for purchase of a piece of land in New Territories, Hong Kong to be redeveloped into a residential property.

Acted for a Hong Kong bank in a bilateral loan to an investor based in Hong Kong for purchase of 20 newly-built residential apartments in London.

Acted for a Hong Kong bank in a syndicated loan to a Hong Kong family office for refinancing of all units in a commercial building located in London.
