Thibaut assists banks and trading companies in negotiations and legal actions against insurance underwriters covering marine and non-marine risks, including misappropriation and fraud losses suffered overseas.

As a member of the commercial litigation department, he also assists the clients of the firm in their disputes with pharmaceutical companies and art dealers.

Legal action for a multinational bank against the underwriters of a BBB insurance cover (bankers blanket bond) following the misappropriation of 11.3 metric tons of precious metals valued US $325 million while on consignment with foreign clients.

Assistance of a European bank against the underwriters of a marine insurance cover following the misappropriation of 35,000 metric tons of grains valued US $7.2 million in Egypt.
